    Monroe

    Went to:
    Quiznos
    Fred myers
    Lake Tye park

Non-event except for one guy looking to cause trouble that thought he knew the law and insisted that it was illegal to carry in a park next to the kids.

    Triathlon (Monroe)
    Walmart (Lynnwood)
    Target (Woodinville)
    Olive Garden (Kirkland)
    Strawberry Festival (Bellevue)
    Lake Tye (Monroe)

Not much to report, everything went on without a hitch. Strawberry Festival was fun, was only able to spend about 2 hours there (Nice weather!). Good lunch special at olive garden (All you can eat soup, salad, bread sticks for $6.95)

Don't you know "it's all about the kids".

I added some more cities to the list. To further clarify, I would say any city between Lake Washington and the west side of the pass.

Kirkland Transfer Station to dump off some yard debris A OK.

I did sport a Glock long sleeve shirt the entire time.

    Thumbs up Monroe, Woodinville, Renton

-Wake Board Event, Lake Tye (Monroe) see attached.
    -Costco (Woodinville)
    -Safeway (Renton)

Might make it to movies and few others today.

No issues so far today. Nice motorcycles at the wake board contest in Monroe. If you plan on going to this, know that its $13 to get in. If you don't want to pay, just walk around the lake to the other side.

    Weekend Camping

The wife, kid and I went camping with some friends this weekend. A good time was had by all.

    Open Carry Locations:
    Fred Myers (Monroe)
    Safeway (Monroe)
    Fish Lake (Leavenworth)
    Nason Creek Campsite (Leavenworth)
    Downtown Leavenworth:
    -Hwy 2
-John Doe Market (dont remember the name shoping center/market)
    -Starbucks
    -McD
-Main Street (several bussiness). There was art for sale in the park.

Did not have a single comment or encounter the whole weekend. Leavenworth was packed busy as I would expect on the weekend, still without issue and only a few people even took notice. Our campsite hosts were from Montana (where I am from originally) which was a nice treat. All in all a great weekend with the family and friends.

Maybe "security" thought you were holding the kid hostage and were afraid to approach you

I went to Fred Myers in Monroe last night to do some shopping. A nice guy with a little girl (probably around 8 - 10 years old) walked by and noticed my XDm. The dad said to his daughter 'See sweetie, dads not the only one to carry his thing around' and they continued on their way. It’s nice to see the introductions of guns to younger kids, especially as something not to be afraid of.

Edit: as a note, the dad was not carrying at the time...

You could not 'see' that he was carrying. He may have been....

Morning Starbucks meet up in Duvall. Monroe Lowes. Nice lady helping me asked if I was a LEO or had a permit. I gave her a few points that I picked up from here. Lots of stares but no other comments. Very nice experience over all.

Bellvue gas station yesterday and Duvall gas station today and not a word.

I wonder if there is a thread that includes Lynnwood and Everett?

I thought there was a "North" thead. Unless these are made "sticky's" they need posts to keep them on top of the list.

    Evergreen state fair (Monroe)

Just got back from open carrying at the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe. I had no issues. Several county officers around, atleast a few noticed but did not comment or harass.

I have let this go for a while without posting.

Been to several places in Monroe without issues.

Just now got back from a trip to subway. A Monroe Officer was inside ordering in front of me. He looked a couple times but no comment or word said. The officer left immediately after he exited the building. This was the way its suppose to be.
