Not much to report, everything went on without a hitch. Strawberry Festival was fun, was only able to spend about 2 hours there (Nice weather!). Good lunch special at olive garden (All you can eat soup, salad, bread sticks for $6.95)

I added some more cities to the list. To further clarify, I would say any city between Lake Washington and the west side of the pass.

No issues so far today. Nice motorcycles at the wake board contest in Monroe. If you plan on going to this, know that its $13 to get in. If you don't want to pay, just walk around the lake to the other side.

Weekend Camping

The wife, kid and I went camping with some friends this weekend. A good time was had by all.

Open Carry Locations:
Fred Myers (Monroe)
Safeway (Monroe)
Fish Lake (Leavenworth)
Nason Creek Campsite (Leavenworth)
Downtown Leavenworth:
-Hwy 2
-John Doe Market (dont remember the name shoping center/market)
-Starbucks
-McD
-Main Street (several bussiness). There was art for sale in the park.


Did not have a single comment or encounter the whole weekend. Leavenworth was packed busy as I would expect on the weekend, still without issue and only a few people even took notice. Our campsite hosts were from Montana (where I am from originally) which was a nice treat. All in all a great weekend with the family and friends.

Went out shopping and then to dinner with the family on Sunday. Visited the following locations without issues.

I went to Fred Myers in Monroe last night to do some shopping. A nice guy with a little girl (probably around 8 - 10 years old) walked by and noticed my XDm. The dad said to his daughter 'See sweetie, dads not the only one to carry his thing around' and they continued on their way. It’s nice to see the introductions of guns to younger kids, especially as something not to be afraid of.

Edit: as a note, the dad was not carrying at the time...

Morning Starbucks meet up in Duvall. Monroe Lowes. Nice lady helping me asked if I was a LEO or had a permit. I gave her a few points that I picked up from here. Lots of stares but no other comments. Very nice experience over all.

Bellvue gas station yesterday and Duvall gas station today and not a word.
