Folks,

We mention rights, privileges, laws, bills, senators, and politics. We even talk about ranges, holsters, and sometimes our compromise carry weapons. How many times, however, have we posted a couple of pics of the centerpieces of these important conversations, the guns themselves? Gun porn should be up there with rights.

Because I'd rather not take up the forum's space, I'm sending you a link to a little of my own personal "gun porn." These were all at the range yesterday, and every one of them is an absolute dead shot. Please pardon the bad backgrounds, since i just wanted you to get a feeling for what keeps my family and myself safe on daily basis.

The first two are my Gold Cup (which has the ten-round CMC clip and stays in the car). The second one is a Wilson, which I just got but which will steer a bullet all the way to the target that I have telepathically chosen and hit it, dead-center, thousands of yard away. Hundreds of rounds of ball yesterday and it didn't skip a beat.

Next is the beater Kimber Custom II, which as you can see has seen some love. That's the way I like them and this is my favorite gun of the lot. It has the best quality that any gun can have: it never misses. I've done a couple of things to it: Mepros and some "bulletproof" Wilson parts. This Kimber is the one I would most trust with my life if it ever came down to the thick.

Last is my baby Kimber (the "prima donna"), which I carry on my 6. It takes some getting used to and is not as precise as the full-size machines, but God bless Florida: we have to conceal. Practice enough, and I'll get as good with it as I am with the others.

More to come, by the way: I have a blue Centennial Colt at the shop and a bunch of 9mm machines (1911 RIA, Colt, etc -- as well as Glocks [including the competition model])

I thought you guys would appreciate some gun porn after all the politics, and I've left the site open so that you can post your own shots as well as download all of mine.

Check out the pics (only six-- add some of yours) http://gallery.me.com/macjojo#100675

What do you use to keep you and yours alive? And feel free to post your gun porn on my site (or this one, if allowed -- I'm playing it safe).

Very nice pieces, sir. The 1911 is a very elegant looking weapon and their triggers are amazing. I have a rock river AR that I suppose is the primary home weapon. Or the FAL in .308. I started carrying my full size XD-9 in public after SB 234 was tortured to death to illustrate the absurdity of the law by printing so badly in an OWB holster, no one can doubt I have a gun. Thus, the absurdity of the OC ban.

I own Glocks. Glock 21SF 45cal, Glock 17 9mm, I do have an Uberti SA .45LC, and a Mossberg 12ga pump. I myself carry 2 guns at all times regardless and never print(Jojo knows why, LOL). 12ga has 2 barrels-smooth bore for home, rifled for hunting. Uberti was merely cause I love John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, I do have the western rig for it as well. When Jesus comes back up here with that Techy camera of his, I will have some professional pics done with all my guns for his PORN site. Plus it may show just how much I support pro gun rights in Florida and the USA.

Do folks here just not post their gear or give range reports after a good night at the range? I don't get it.

Hmm, not quite sure anyone really needs to see what's hanging out at the home front, but since you've asked, here's a shot of the old holster collection, guns included!

I've since added a few more (two Fobus and one more Bianchi) but other than that, this is the current working collection, minus rifles and shotguns.

I believe one of the problems here is that you have to make sure you have the "img" box allowed in your profile to actually post up a picture instead of just a link to a picture.

You have beautiful pieces there, but you are showing us a picture of the girls' beautiful face with a full bikini (holstered), when we want to see them unadorned. This is a good thing. You're the only one who has gotten some gun porn going. I hope others chime in.

Very killer, dude. The black & white one with the skeet rifle pointing at the camera is particularly amazing, as is the one showing the "business end" of the revolver. Thanks for posting on the site, man.

I had to post a few more 1911 pics (along with a couple of Glock 9's), since I got a another Wilson today (the mini version of the one I already had). It shoots like an absolute dream. I'm trying to slim my way down to just .45 and 9mm on the pistol end, and just 5.56 and 7.62 on the rifle end. I'll get to the rifle pictures as soon as I can get as good as ABNinfantryman at the context.

For a look at the new Wilson + a few more pics of the "staples," go ahead and check it out. Feel free to post:

Well, don't really know if this qualifies a "porn" but how about "old age porn" or something like that.

Here's two shots I just took of a pair of 41 year olds!

The ammo and gun were both purchased in 1970 when I was a rookie copper. Just fired both of them last week with no problems at all.

I carried that wheel gun many years past the time when my buds were all moving to the automatics.

Oh well, time marches on!!

Astounding! There are few things with the soul of an nicely-aged blued revolver. When you turn them in the light, it's
like an absolute rainbow. They get that whole Aurora Borealis thing going on.

Time may march on, but those pieces will march right along with it.

Beautiful, AD. One of my students has one that is just a bit younger than yours (1974 vintage) that he got for a song at the LGS. It's in excellent condition (I'd guesstimate 90%). He brings it out occasionally and it's still a great shooter.

Thanks for sharing!
