So we went to the gun show Saturday...

And I asked my g/f if she wanted a new HG and she points at this long thing with stock and a barrel and says 'I can haz?'

    Isn't she adorable?

A gun in a holster is better than one drawn and dispensing bullets. Concealed forces the latter. - ixtow

LOL You got out cheap! My Wife works part time in a gun shop. I recieved a text last week that said "Just got in 2 Lightweight Commanders ". My first thought was " Don't guess she is getting paid this week." Sure enough, 5 minutes later "Don't even ask to carry it, but you can shoot it if your nice."

She shot it before she left work and brought her target to show me. Seven shots, one ragged hole from 7 yards.

To think, when we got married she didn't care anything about guns. I've created a monster.

Don't tell her I said this, but at least I'm not buying jewelry!

With various HG carries, I get the usual, 'Does this CC make me look fat?'

With the shotgun, she says 'I pity the poor fool that calls me fat!', lol.

Cost me $336, plus 20 for the softside case, and I got her some clay and some shells. We went out and shot. This morning she woke up and said 'I have a shotgun'. No 'hi honey, did you sleep well'.

We went out and learned how to load it and shot some cardboard boxes deader 'n doornails, then put some clay pigeons up and shot those to huge grins and high fives. All we need now is the combo to the barrel where they keep the skeet thrower and I have a new job...pulling a rope.

What did you say about creating a monster? (She buys me jewelry - I had to live up to her idea of a 'pirate' so it was one pierced ear and blonde hair dye for me - at least she doesn't make me talk like a pirate - yet!).

Be happy she doesn't want you to look like Capt. Jack Sparrow!
