Some good information on what the cops may and may not do after they have read you the Miranda warning and gotten you to sign a waiver statement.

Reverse engineering on this is simple - if you do not **** at least be aware of how the cops can screw up their getting a confesion out of you.

It's a nice write up of how one might be able to get what they said thrown out, but the best way is to just shut up and not say anything in the first place.
