Scott Babbitt is conducting several NRA Instructor courses in conjunction with Sandy Springs Gun Club & Range. All instructor courses will be conducted at their range facility. The upcoming courses are:
8 - 9 July NRA Basic Instructor Training (8 July) & NRA Basic Pistol Instructor (9 July)
Cost: $245 (for both courses together; contact Scott if you already have BIT and want Pistol Instructor only)
Deposit required: $50
Registration deadline: 24 June - As of 06/29, Scott is short 3 students from having enough folks signed up to hold the class. I would appreciate if you are close enough to attend and are interested, please call or write him as soon as possible (I'm signed up and would really like for him to hold the class so this is somewhat self-serving).

19 - 20 Aug NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home (PPOTH) - Student (Basic & Advanced levels)

Please note that the NRA Basic Instructor Training course (8 July) is a prerequisite to all other NRA instructor firearms training courses. ALSO: If you intend to become an NRA PPOTH instructor, the NRA requires that you first successfully complete the Basic Pistol and Personal Protection In The Home instructor courses, AND successfully complete the PPOTH STUDENT-level course, both basic and advanced portions.
