Not If You Have a License

Am I correct in reading the statute, If i go to Fleet Farm and buy an electric fencer, put it in my coat and walk out of the store, that would currently qualify as an illegally concealed weapon?? :)

Athough you are being facetious, someone may take you seriously so.....

(a) “Electric weapon” means any device which is designed, redesigned, used or intended to be used, offensively or defensively, to immobilize or incapacitate persons by the use of electric current.

Doesn't seem to meet the definition. You may want to wear rubber underwear. Of course I suspect that a lot of people that post here already do.

P.S. At about $25 a shot, you'd need a second mortgage to practice with a Taser on a regular basis.

It surely does meet the definition...IF my intent is to use it on 'persons'...then it fits... and a cattle prod would also fit this definition...
