Ok I decided to enjoy the beach and OC, I have a premium parking spot and 2 slots left for the carpool. Terrorist threat level is raised for the weekend, and its Americas Bday, no better reason to celebrate and practice freedom.

San Diego area, give me a PM very similar deal to July 9th meet up. Lots of LEO staffing and crowds expect at least 1 or more E checks.

wow, such a waste of the officer's valuable time......

Yea your govt hard at work, actually 4th of July at the beach requires backfilling lots of extra patrol spots to upstaff the beach to keep the "rowdy" crowds in check. These officers were getting double time to just cruise around and be a presence so all the sheeple could feel safe. Most officers we bumped into that day were career desk jockeys getting the overtime fat cow, foot patrols, bike teams, motorcycle. Most of their day was filled with citing people for drunk in public, dui, bui, smoking on the beach, and drinking in prohibited areas.
