With the President's announcement that he now intends to attempt "sensible gun control" (read confiscation after Hillary signs the UN Treaty), ammo prices and gun prices are on the rise. Some 9mm I bought last weekend, before the announcement for $9.99 / box of 50 is now $13.99 per box of 50 - ON SALE.

I suspect Wisconsin will see a "double whammy" with SB-93 demand driving up prices and fear of the President and his antics driving up prices as well.

Could what you saw be an isolated incident with a mom and pop outfit attempting to take advantage as this moment and not a more widespread (nationwide) price increase? God I hope so...more of what we had a couple years ago, and are still recovering from, will seriously hurt me to the point of making it impossible for me to get in any range time.

Well the president HAS restored the economy to it's previous glory. Restored Habeas Corpus. Recognized State's Rights. Brought our troops home. Provided the most transparent administration we have ever seen. Started unicorn and rainbow farms in every community.

Hmmm, I noticed fleet farm lowered prices on their pistols to be more competitive and their defensive rounds are more reasonable than most places as well.

William Jefferson Clinton and Barack Osama Obama are the best friends the firearms dealers have ever had. It isn't only the dealers that artificially escalate their prices it is also the firearms manufacturers themselves. Why is it only in the electronics industy that prices go down as demand increases? Greed is the answer.

Decreasing prices during increased demand is the exception, not the norm.

In cyrillic, the 'C' is like an 'S', the 'H' is an N, the third letter is a D, the backwards N is an "i", our G isn't used at all, and the backwards E is more of a Z sound.

" 4AH}|{ " would be closer (they have a "ch" letter that looks like a '4' with the top lines vertical, not with a diagonal). Still wouldn't be russian for 'change' (which is изменение ) but at least it would be pronounced that way.

Pretty close but the э is "e оборотное" or "backwards e" and has sound roughly like the short English e in "bet." з (sort of like the numeral 3) is the equivalent of "z" in English. A common way to represent "j" sound (there being no soft "g" in Russian) in Cyrillic is to use the combination дж (d + zh). So, change would be closer to ЧАНДЖЭ although the "a" has a totally different pronunciation and the final "e" wouldn't be silent. And the German should be (probably) (die) Änderung.... Like Teej, I find this this dopey misuse irritating but happens all too often....and by people who (should know better). I remember seeing 'The Huиt for Яed Octobeя" or something like that on a display at the video store, might have even been in the movie (which was really good nonetheless).

that's what I get for only taking a quick look at the graphic. I don't actually speak russian (obviously) but I've picked up little tidbits here and there.

To be honest, the scuttlebut is that the gun control that's coming is a push to enforce the laws that already exist, and improve the quality of the background check system. No talk of bans, limits, etc.

So long as that remains the case, I don't see a problem with it.

Should that expand, however, I'd of course have to re-evaluate.
