Hey everyone, My wife an I plan on moving to Hawaii sometime next year. But i'm unsure about my rights on being able to open carry leagally.
I'm a LICENSE open carrier in "Tigard, Oregon" an don't wan't to lose my rights just by a change in location.
Is there anyone that could in-lighten me on their facts on hawaii's law's???? PLEASE.

Hawaii is one of the most restrictive states in the U.S.

How can I locate the Hawaii forum on this site?
I'v'e never came past it.

Hawaii has complete gun registration. There is a permit system in Hawaii, but last I heard, the number of permits issued for the entire state was ... 1... that is correct one (1) permit for the entire state.

Hawaii allows for concealed carry with a permit and for open carry with a permit. It is nearly impossible to get a permit.

You can get permission to own a registered gun in your home, and to carry it to a registered range in your car, unloaded and locked up.

That is my understanding at present. This may all change as these type of draconian licensing schemes are being challanged in the courts on the mainland.
