And naturally the people that usually generate these "studies and reports", have never lived near the US/Mexico border...

Ask anyone that's live in El Paso for over 10 years...they'll tell you differently....

Are you suggesting that violent crimes are routinely not reported in Texas? That would explain why El Paso is now the safest large city in the US.
