Hello all I will be heading to South Dakota in mid August with the wife. It is nice to see a state that it pro 2nd not like FL (anti 2nd for the most part.) Hopefully see ya'll around as we will be traveling through trying to find a job to make SD a permanent residence(FL is a little light in the job market). Well see ya all around!!

Thanks! We are starting with Sioux Falls then heading west. Ya'll are lucky with the low unemployment. I am a CCer but will be trying to OC anytime I am not looking for work. is there any specific towns or cities to avoid?

No, not really. We have state preemption over local gun laws here so, while you may conceivably get a 'Hello' from a police officer anywhere, you can legally OC in any city in the state.

Thanks man, I lived in a OC state when I was stationed in new mexico, but that was 2 years ago and I couldnt do it much being it was a base. Walmart was very anti gun, atleast in NM it was.
