Ran into Sen. Richter on a plane a few hours ago. When we got to ATL had a chance to speak. After catching up on where we were heading, I sprung on him that he needs to be a part of fixing the brief exposure garbage. He was non-commital and he didn't look happy that I brought it up. Told him he would be reminded that it needs fixed this next session.

Maybe I shouldn't have framed it as boganoffs highjacking, but he at least heard directly that we aren't happy about it and it needs fixing. He is a banker, so handgun legislation aren't near and dear to his heart, but we need to keep it as a shiny thing within their view.

I think he was passively for full licensed OC, if I remember correctly. Good job bringing it up. He'll hopefully remember that 1. Someone recognized him in public, out of state and 2. That OC was important to that person. How many people who voted in his district would even know his face? Too few.
