    Tammany Trace Carry Ban

    Tammany Trace Carry (Banned)
On this page about Tammany Trace: http://www.tammanytrace.org/rules.shtml

Seems like they don't care about the LA State preemption law.

actually a couple things wrong here

Right below the carry ban, they have a no motorized vehicles ban too. They cannot enforce that one either. Equal access to the disabled is law, and a lot of disabled have electric wheel chairs now.

The website (and its rules) appear to be from the *.org that raises funds and operates the trace. The *.gov that actually owns the property seems to be hands off.

Texas had a similar problem with the Alamo, and the Daughters of the Texas Revolution. The facility is owned by the state, but the DTR had operational control when concealed carry passed in 1995. The Daughters felt very proprietary about the shrine, and insisted that no weapons were allowed. The state finally smacked them down a couple of years later.
