MD Court rules altering a firearm serial number NOT a crime...

Due to a clerical error in the drafting of MD firearms laws, the Courts in MD have rules that because no penalty is defined for altering a serial number on a firearm in MD Statute, it is NOT a crime.

It is still a Federal crime, however.
