OK, normally, I'm against LEOs stopping ordinary peaceful citizens but do have this reaction the LEO had to either know you personally, or have made several huge leaps in logic to avoid thinking you were loading up to rob the store. I'd like to know his thinking processes.

Obviously, (to you and me) no criminal is going to have their HG in a case, nor load up in front of a chief of police. Evidently, you just look Totally Harmless and nonthreatening. I think I might be insulted if I were you. Maybe you need to stop wearing pastels? (lol)

Here's the thread about his previous LEO interaction... (26MAY):

With those amazing powers of observation he'll be sure to make detective in no time.
Especially considering I was standing under a street light at the time (end of my driveway).
Though to be fair, it is black, & was in a black holster...

I was a little surprised he didn't initiate the usual "so what is it" sort of conversation, maybe with some good-natured ribbing about what caliber & brand is "best".
Sure as heck wasn't questioning why I had it!

Heheheh... Yup, I'm very non-threatening looking. The Chief and I are acquainted from a previous stop. Personally, I think they leave me alone because they do not want any trouble for Buffalo County.
