Actually, in Switzerland they do occasionally open carry their weapons (though unloaded, I think):

Sorry, but the Israelis carry with the magazine rubber-banded to the rifle but not in the mag well. Stop looking at the girls and look at the rifles.

Also, if you are not in the military it is not easy to get a permit to carry. Permits for rifles are a bit easier than for pistols, but still they are not common.

Yup. Oddly, they (Israel) give special consideration for bus drivers...

Much as we complain around here (and rightfully so), the US still has the most lenient firearm laws in the world.

This is in Isreal ,they are required to carry their weapons.
