I read a lot about inland, but, have seen nothing about coastal areas. Have I missed a thread somewhere? anyone carry in the area Florence to Lincoln City?

If you plan on carrying between Florence and Lincoln City, beware of Newport which has a municipal ordinance against open carry. You must have an Oregon CHL to open carry there.

Point of order: It is a loaded open carry ban in keeping with state law. Newport 8.20.005 at page 229. There is no restriction on loaded magazines listed.
