    Network Architect

    Location: Newark, DE

    LOA: 3 months

    Start Date: 8/22



    Consultant will be working with existing staff to architect new system design using DMVPN (Dynamic Multipoint VPN) and VRF (VPN Routing and Forwarding) to connect company network. Consultant will also assist w/ a number of other network infrastructure upgrade projects and provide level 3 support.



    SKILLS (all are MUSTS):

    Cisco DMVPN & VRF design and Deployment on Cisco 65XX/Supervisor 720 Hardware - no TRADE OFFS

    Network engineer 5 yrs min/10 yrs ideal

    Network architecture/design (same as network engineering) - must be hands on

    Cisco firewalls

    EIGRP & BGP routing

    Job Title: Program Manager/Voice Engineer

    Location: Basking Ridge, NJ or Waltham, MA

    Start Date: 9/1

    LOA: 3-6 months, there is a chance of extension beyond this as well



    Why Open: Client is launching a new Fixed Mobile Convergence solution that allows users to have VoIP telephony features on their Android smart phones, serviced from Cisco and Avaya Unified Communication suites.



    Duties/Responsibilities

    Contractor resource will establish and maintain close relationships with internal/external business units (Sales, IT, Marketing, Engineering, etc) to facilitate ongoing customer trials and coordinate the integration of the application across the client’s internal organizational groups. Contractor will collaborate with core and cross functional teams, to modify/develop trial and implementation plans, implement the plan, support product management and development, then survey and/or solicit trial feedback from users after implementation. Includes program managing the process, timelines and locations for trials/testing, and procure necessary infrastructure equipment. This person should have a collaborative work ethic and an ability to work in a fast pace, ever changing environment. (60% PM/40% Engineering)



    Skills

    Cisco Unified Communications Manager 8.0 & above

    Technical Program Management

    New Product Introduction/Trial Coordination



    Contractor will not be responsible for configuring all the VoIP equipment but must be knowledgeable enough with Call Manager to make system changes and set up infrastructure

    Length of Assignment: 6 months



    Why Open: Client is introducing a new LTE video calling service and needs a contractor to support end to end product development and integration.



    Responsibilities:

    The Senior Engineer filling this role will join the product services and integration group to play an active part in the technical design and implementation of the LTE Video Calling (LVC) and Video Mail solutions for the Voice over LTE program. The project entails multiple service areas and responsibilities will span the full product development lifecycle.
    Overall documentation of integrated systems architecture/design for LTE Video Calling (LVC)
    Writing test plans that will be executed by various engineering and operations teams
    Managing solution vendors. Working with vendors to come up features and designs to have an overall solution.
    Must be able to manage and drive the product life cycle

    Skills:

    Must

    Solutions Architecture and Network Services Builds

    Multimedia and Distributed Video Services experience

    IMS

    Technical knowledge of Web Community-based calling and messaging systems (e.g. Facetime, QIK, Tango)

    Network Engineer

    LOA: 6 Months

    Start Date: 8/15

    Location: Jackson, MS



    Why Open:

    Has 3 big projects and needs a contractor to increase the bandwidth of his team.



    Description:

    Contractor will assist the existing team with multiple projects, the manager will dedicate them to whatever project they are strongest. Tasks include Configuring Cisco routers, switches and firewalls moving VPNs, building new tunnels and assisting with a juniper network access controls. Working with team with trouble shooting and fixing day to day issues, Network access and getting new circuits turned up.



    Projects - Juniper routers and switches upgrade

    Upgrading Cisco Call Manager 6.0 to latest 7.x version

    Upgrading ASA firewalls to newest OS and adding a new Intrusion detection/protection program

    Skills:

    Must have at least one of the follow certs or equivalent experience - CCVP, CCSP or CCNP

    Cisco Network Eng - 5+ years

    Cisco Firewalls

    Juniper experience - any

    I, for one, appreciate the re-opening of this thread. I'd like to see the "below positions" that were apparently a part of the original OP.
    The First protects the Second, and the Second protects the First. Together, they protect the rest of our Bill of Rights and our United States Constitution, and help We the People protect ourselves in the spirit of our Declaration of Independence.

    They're certainly more efficient. They're not necessarily safer, and if the members of the committee all share the same benevolent qualities as the leader, the committee will make fewer mistakes.
