The Rock Hill Board of Aldermen is considering a measure that would prohibit the open display of firearms in the city.

The practice is often referred to as "open carry." Carrying an exposed firearm is not outlawed by state statutes, but cities have the option to restrict or ban the practice be enacting local laws.

City Attorney Paul Martin said the measure, introduced at this week's meeting, would amend the city’s current gun law, which provides an exception for individuals who possess a conceal carry permit.

Concealed weapons would still be allowed in the city for those possessing a conceal-carry permit as per state law, but the open display of firearms would be prohibited.

He is a article authored by the city attorney Paul Martin. Essentially he states that the Constitution is a "problem" and calls for the need of warrantless searches. This guy is a openly blatent anticonstitutionalist. The legislation he has authored for many municipalities proves it. He is big into warrantless searches and has written numerous ordinances with many constitutional infirmities. I guess his attitude is, lets write it, see if anyone notices and only remove it when they get sued.

A multi-city city attorney who makes a living looking for a ways to legally get away with violating the US "Bill of Rights". I have never seen such an anti-Constitutionalist before. This man is a cockroach indeed.

I wonder about his line that this wasn't intended by the ordinance. How would he know what was intended? Was he the city attorney when the ordinance was passed?

I say we all just leave St.Louis county and let it get over run with crime and call it a day. We are losing the fight here faster and faster. I'm about fed up with St.Louis county now.

This is because of the "Progressive" agenda. While the mindless, spineless, liberal sheeple sleep they have managed to infiltrated every aspect of society. The problem now is they have positioned themselves into positions of power and they are many. Their goal is to "fundamentally change America". Sound familiar? They are advancing a coup on America and doing so without firing a shot. Simply put, a Progressive is a Communist/Marxist/Authoritarian/Fascist/Socialist wearing lipstick.

Sorry, I'm just getting irritated at it all. The County crime rate is growing, yet we, the law abiding citizens that carry ( lawfully ) to defend ourselves are treated as the criminals and threats.

This so-called attorney falls neatly into the category "enemies foreign and DOMESTIC" in the oaths sworn by police and soldiers alike. He is an enemy of the Constitution. Here I must cease commenting...
