I know, sarcasm doesn't come across very well in this medium. OCDO allows the following emoticon, but it really is not very good:

Back on topic, I do not like the fact that people turn in guns for Low Dollar to the Government in a supposed effort for "Less Guns == Less Crime" when it is truly the opposite and criminals were probably far, far away from this event and turned in ZERO GUNS.

Now, an enterprising individual would have set up in the parking lot, and attempted to purchase some of the "finer" pieces. "What, they'll give you $50 for that 1911? Well, how about I give you a $100?"

In WI you could have gotten away with it, since it's legal here to do FTF sales of weapons 3rd party without an FFL. Don't know about MI though

It can be done here as well but they tend to hold these things on private property so a private person that tried to buy the guns could be asked to leave and if they didn't they could be hit with a trespassing charge.

I've noticed that many people miss your sarcasm. Maybe you're just bad at it.

Could be! Probably should include <sarcasm></sarcasm> tags...

Might also be that I post factually more often than not...
