Carry in Riverside Hospital?

I was searching their policies online and such.... couldnt find anything that says I cannot. Anyone know anything that I dont?

I have an appointment to get my stitches out and such from my awesome BMX racing failure 2 thursdays ago, haha.

I don't know the answer, but I'll bet if you show up OCing, someone will ask you not to.

Just remember, we never point out lack of signage. That just causes trouble for later folks who may choose to CC.

PS. I did just recall a conversation I had with a security guard at a local hospital a few months back. The lady was prepared to swear on her mother's grave that it was against the law to carry in a hospital in Virginia. I politely suggested she seek a refund from her "security guard training school." For some reason, that didn't help the conversation to an amicable end.

Easy misunderstanding because this is an OC forum.

Some years back, Danbus' father became acutely ill so Dan and his brother took him in. I believe it was Riverside, but I could be wrong. Danbus was OCing (of course) and he came right into the ER with his father. Either no one noticed or no one really cared, but if memory serves it wasn't 'til the father was stabilized and sent to the floor that a security guard came up to Dan and quietly mentioned in a polite fashion that carry was against Hospital policy. The Guard was very professional about it, and he escorted Dan back to his car so he could lock it the trunk, and get back to his dad. When Dan left the hospital, he noticed that the guard had positioned himself at a window so he had a clear view of Dan's car, and indicated he did this to prevent Dan's car from being burglarized. This was a guy who at least understood our concerns and tried to ease Dan's mind at a difficult time. His father made and was sent home in a few days.
