Call for a cop, call for an ambulance, and call for a pizza. See who shows up first.

If I were the Commander in Chief one of the first orders I would issue is that if you are a member of the armed forces in good standing you will be armed with a handgun of your choosing at ALL times on duty, off duty or on leave, or overseas on U.S. soil. You may carry openly or concealed in all U.S. States, your military I.D. is your CC permit. I’m putting the “armed” back into armed forces. Any uniformed officer should be able to walk up to a member of the military at any time and say “present arms” and that member should be able to produce a handgun at the least.
And for those service members who have been honorably discharged and have no criminal record, they too would have a lifetime CC permits that would be honored in every state, only they would have the option of not carrying if they so wished.
Incidents of U.S. military personnel being ambushed would drop to .00001 percent within days of the word getting out. The entire nation would be safer. Carry on.
