Man with gun report creates panic at Tucson base

No gun, widespread panic, typical over-reaction.

For the record, there was no "panic", at least not on base. Some understandable concern, mind you....

And then the incident at Luke AFB over the weekend: http://azstarnet.com/news/state-and-...cc4c002e0.html

    Article, and my comment. YMMV.

Dupe thread. The other one reported a 5-hour lockdown on base.

    Falsified media report?

Turned into a media feeding frenzy in Tucson, with segs into the January Giffords shooting..

Local TV jackals scurrying around in search of fresh meat.
