I notice anti-gun senator Mike Bennett has been placed on the criminal justice committee. Correct me if I'm wrong but this means all pro gun legislation of any significance will be stillborn in the senate by a vote of 2-4 or 3-4. Anything in 790 would have to go through this committee. Therefore, general OC has 0 chance of getting to the floor unless "briefly" was struck by amendment to another bill.

A bill getting rid of any more prohibited places is now out of the question. In principle, at least. We know anti-freedom senator Dean buckled under the pressure to let SB 234 go on. But now he'll have another Rino ally. Also, I thought Haridopolis had control of committee placement. Guess gun rights are pretty low on the list of importance.
