    Restaurant Carry Checker Tool

Unsure if it's legal to carry concealed in some restaurant? Now you can find out!

It's basically a tool that searches for restaurants that are legal to carry in by city, county or zip code. Soon, I'll have a mobile version that's easy to use on smart phones so you can check on the go.

Tried it a couple of times, it doesn't seem to like Silver City.

It basically just requests the information from New Mexico's licensing server, but it would appear that their server is being flaky. Sometimes it works, other times it throws the error.

I'll keep trying to see what I can do on my end, but the official search button on their site appears to do the same thing

Can I get your help diagnosing something?

    Try this:
Attempt to search for places in Silver City, and watch it fail.

Then visit this page in a new browser tab: http://rldverification.rld.state.nm....spx?facility=Y

Don't do anything, just close the tab, go back to the tab with my site and refresh the page.

Then attempt a search of Silver City again.

Does it work at that point?

Ok, that's just funny. Ya, that made it work.

I'll work over the weekend and find a workaround so that nobody has to click on the link to make it work. We'll see

Try it out now, I rigged it so that it loads the state's search page in the background without showing it to users.

Let me know if it doesn't work so I can tinker more
