This thread, of 77,000 results, is the only one satisfying the search criteria, thus supporting your contention of fictitious fabrication.

Search engines cannot find this 'post from another forum. So, unless you can provide a link to it, I have to count this as a complete BS story.

are you guys for real? Google search results don't refresh up to the minute. Hell, I don't think they even refresh every hour. Just because something was posted on a forum doesn't mean it'll make it to Google's front page immediately. It may take a day or two for the Google bots to find it and post it.

And finally, just because you can't find it on Google, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

That goes against everything I've read about Walmart's corporate policy.

Hopefully that email was signed, so the appropriate person can be reamed once the higher-ups find out.
Not that I shop at WallyWorld unless there's no way to avoid it,
but this makes me want to see if the local stores know about this "new policy".

That doesn't make sense to me. Google found this post less than 3:28 later, but still has not found the post on ar15.com.

I just lost faith in Google search.:(

Wal Mart needs to be FORCED to follow state law by protests if necessary!

Here in MI we were told "Wal-Mart abides by all state laws." However, after several instances similar to this we were told "it's up to the individual store managers to ask a person to leave if they feel the person is a THREAT. OC is a threat? No I don't think so.

That's alot of power (potentially life or death) to give a Manager who can then delegate it all the way down to the door greeter! WTF? So, they basically have no policy! I will not shop there and many of my pro 2A friends will not either.

The only way they will do the right thing is to be forced kicking & screaming to do so. If we organized pickets of 20 to 50 members on the public sidewalks nearest the driveways of these stores who's managers don't gave a damn about our (the public) safety; I'm sure these issues will be addressed quickly. If the press picks this up, then they (wally world) will move even faster as they dislike bad press. ;)

Well I used to open carry, but tonight at the friendly neighborhood Walmart, was ask to leave. I've open carried there plenty of times before with out incident. When told I could not possess a firearm wile shopping at Walmart, I put my gun in my truck and finished shopping. 20 minutes later at least 10 police officers armed with 870's, m16's, and handguns drawn approached my fiancee, son and I. Searched me and escorted me out of the store. The cops were cool about it, but apparently Walmart employees call the cops and told them an armed customer refused to leave. After talk with the store employees and me, I was free to leave. The officers acted professionally and polite, but the Walmart employees actions was uncalled for. I was asked to leave, I apologized and left politely. The employee who asked me to leave told me there where no firearms signs posted (the cops or I didn't find any). I've written the local store and corporate asking what the firearm policy is. I don't recommend OC at the Fond du Lac Walmart

This is from another forum I frequent. I called the store this morning and was told they were private property and could do as they please and that they had customer complaints. I asked the person why they didnt follow corp. policy and was told they wouldnt discuss this with me.

I try to register on ar15.com, but they keep telling my that my email is invalid.

I would like to know if ORR has been made and if the correspondence that was posted later was from that store. But I cannot register to ask.

Of course THOSE store managers do not give a damn about gun toters. They know very well the large majority of their customers are not gun fans. It is their RIGHT to send gun toters down the road.

Come on, 20 to 50 picketers? Walmart heavys will not even blink. When you try to dictate how someone runs their business they tend to squash those who interfere.

"Gun toters"? I thought only W.A.V.E. and the Brady Bunch used that type of anti-firearm language. Nicely done.

I am a gun toter. That term is not anti firearm language. Some people cause their own self destruction as far as gun rights by trying to interfere how a business uses its RIGHTS.

I can ask for you. What is ORR? Just let me know what you want me to ask. Ironically, that's my original thread there on AR15.com lol.

ARfcom doesn't allow "Free" email addresses. To register, you need to confirm through a non-free one (as Ar15.com views it) and then you can switch to a "free" account. They have a list of email address domains they don't allow. Oddball free ones, your ISP account, etc. should work. It's one of the methods they use to keep the signal to noise ratio high.

Anyway, you might want to back off on the outrage about what Google does and does not do, and you clearly have no idea what a site owner can do for indexing or not. It is possible to control indexing on a page by page basis, and Ar15.com site admins do have automatic systems they use for that purpose. What you can see while logged in is vastly different than what you can see while not logged in, and there are various account levels and sub forums with their own systems (including indexing ability by search engines).

My advice to that OP on that other site, is carry a damn recorder. This is to save you from the lies the cops may make, as well as the lies the people you may interact with may make. Anybody willing to confront a complete stranger over what is ultimately trivial stuff, is also willing to lie about it.

Keeee-rist what a load of crap some of you are delivering to Jerry D. The poor guy mentioned his post on another forum as a courtesy, ladies. (And it's right where he said it would be.) You can't find the post so you slander the man?

There's a mini-epidemic here lately of people attacking posters who post bad news. Please, let's not jump on people who post things that we hope aren't true, or think shouldn't be true.

JerryD: That incident is outrageous on every level -- that you were still hassled even after you disarmed, that the LEOs brought so much firepower to the party, that the store's response is so discourteous. I'm sending an email to Wally HQ complaining. Let us know what else we can do to help you get this redressed.

Please show the class where businesses are/have guaranteed rights.

It is their RIGHT to send gun toters down the road.

Is this real life?

So, your position is that a manager of a store has rights that trump the corporate business policy and the actual 2nd Amendment right of the customer?

Welcome back logables.

Keeee-rist...

There is a mini-epidemic of trolls posting BS on the forums.

It's my understanding that if you are asked to leave and do NOT, then you can be charged with trespassing.

So that would lend creedence to the statement, "It is their RIGHT to send gun toters down the road."

Although possibly poorly worded, the meaning is that a businesses property rights trump your 2nd amendment rights.

I want to know if the person that got the police response did an Open Records Request.

Another person posted correspondence from Wal-Mart on thier concealed weapons policy. I want to know when this corrspondence was recieved and from who it was sent, i.e. which store.

I would greatly apprectiate it.

My email address is not free. It comes with my internet service that I pay for. It's a local rural telephone/internet provider cooperative.
http://www.tcc.coop/ Hence the suffix to my email address below. They scan and filter all my email.

I am not outraged. I have no idea how search engines work and how site management affects what search engines can find. I am just a little disappointed, I thought Google Search was all knowing.

This did not happen to JerryD.

He posted a story saying it was from another forum. Several of us could not find this story on another. I specifically called him out for not providing a link to it. IF he had done that in the OP, there would not have been a problem. Without the link, it was just hearsay. Whenever we cut and paste, we are supposed to provide a link to the source.
