Other than the part about allowing them to ticket people who violate a private businesses' "ban" (the state law already does that...), this is great news.

A town that "gets it!"

Having lived in Germantown for years, I was pleasantly surprised by this. This is a city that has notoriously passed "completely wrong decisions" on a lot of different issues over the years, ranging from education to public works. That they took the right step in the right direction on this matter makes me feel a sense of pride for my old town, and I applaud them.
