Good job editing the original post to reflect what's needed. Nice compromise there. Got it in my calender. Hopefully it won't be raining lol

I think we need to change the date, there is a NASCAR Sprint Cup race that night at the speedway (which hopefully I will be at) and we don't want to be anywhere near Concord on a race night.

Oh so true.. Race day = more congestion than having the flu..........

We have three options......

1.)Reschedule for an earlier or later date

2.)Change location and keep Saturday October 15th

3.)Keep the original day and place. (me personally.. the more people.. the better... )

Damn race night. I'm up for whatever to be honest. If we do decide to keep the same day and place, I'll bear through the traffic for a meet. Keep in mind that even if we change places for that day though, traffic's going to be horrible everywhere for a good distance out. Especially 85, which can turn into a parking lot at the most random times anyway. If the general consensus is that people want to avoid the heavy traffic, then we'd probably have to reschedule the day. But I'll show up to whatever time and place is set up though. Even on race night. So it's up to what everybody else wants.

+1

Part of the point of an OC dinner is to allow the general public to view regular citizens going about their day while oc'ing. Large event = more public = more oppertunities to educate.

Well, gonna have to change my RSVP. If the date stays the 15th, I will either be at the race or at home avoiding Concord. I am not willing to deal with those kinds of traffic issues unless I'm going to the event causing them :)

If you change the location (like to the 5 Guys in Huntersville), I'm in if I'm not at the race.

Carry on!

I'm fine with either place, they're both about the same distance from me. So if we change locations, I wouldn't have any issues with it.

Same here... I am not getting anywhere near that race track on race day.

It's been a couple days since anybody's posted. So I'm just checking on the status of everything. Are we still going with the same time and place?

Sorry for the delay, I've been away from my pc this weekend. I think that we can reschedule this meet and greet. Since most say they will be @ the race lets switch the day and place. Still keeping the weekend aspect. Im not familiar with the Huntersville area but am willing to make that a location if all willing.

Well we could always just push it back one day then to Sunday if that fits with people's schedules.
