hmmm....That >might< put walker in a spot. Forbid carry, he alienates the gun owners (and hard core gun owners like many here, further). Allows them, and the left and MSM screams louder.
Now he gets to decide what's more important to him...the left that won't vote for him no matter what, or gun owners who helped put him in in the first place.

Today, I read an article in the Journal Sentinel.

    http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepo...131483583.html

Many of you may be familiar with it--Specifically, my Senator (Ellis) voices his opinion which happens to be anti-carry as it pertains to the Capitol. I called his office today, and was unfortunate enough to speak to his lackey.

Despite my best attempts at trying to explain to this person that I (as a tax-payer and lawful citizen) should not have to disarm myself to visit certain parts of the tax-payers Capitol building, I was unable to get my point across. Furthermore, the reasoning for Ellis's opinion (from the article) is based upon left-wing false talking points (people with guns are dangerous, Gabrielle Gifford)--and that if they post a magic sign to disarm "everyone" at the door--there should be no need for the Capitol Police.

Is anyone else sick and tired of our legislators' unwillingness to live within the laws they create???

This is a trick question right?

"If he'd had a gun in his hand, I would have been dead," Ellis said.

He said there was an "atmosphere of controlled fear" during protests earlier this year, when he and other Republicans often received police escorts.

"Some time ago, a bunch of lefties defied the law by dancing at the Jefferson Memorial, resulting in their arrests. Last week, a bunch of them pulled the same stunt and - using patented Lefist techniques - provoked the Park Police into having to use force to arrest them."

I doubt DOA will ban CCW in the Capital. There are alot of legislators that will CC after they have permits. That is why they would not add the Capital to the prohibited places.

Assemblymen can already carry in the capital (at least that's what Assemblyman Paul Farrow told me).
