Badger Guns To Surrender License

This sucks big booty. Everyone knows guns dont kill people, scumbag criminals do. Another blow to free enterprise, and someone's livelyhood.

I saw that late at work today. Very sad indeed.

The linked article was a bit vague on the facts, did they break the law with regards to illegal sales? A paperwork violation could be an abbreviation used where it should have been spelled out. A dealer can't always detect a straw purchases.

They say that the store was the "top seller of crime guns", I would wonder what was their sales volume, if they sell 50 guns a month and 30 of them are used in crimes then I could see a possible issue, if they sell 3000 a month and 30 of them are used in a crime then that's a different story.

This place has been a problem for many years. The ATF had begun the process of revoking the license when the owner's dad owned the business and then he sold it to Adam who owns it now. That meant a clean slate but they didn't change how they did business. It was not just a matter of not keeping proper records but not being vigilant in who they were selling the guns to.

I'm sure they are just going to sell the business off to yet another person for a clean FFL, but I'm wondering if they are going to have a "clearance sale" on any handguns.

It says the brother "might" be interested but who knows. Not sure about a "clearance sale" but someone told me they were planning on a sale of some kind. I'll see if I can find out about it.

No sale as of yet. was there today looking for glock 27. Still $570.
