M&P 9c Open carry holster

What holsters would you recommend for open carry of the M&P 9c? I am picking one up on the 1st of november, and obviously need a holster.


It will be my first carry weapon.

What do you like? Leather or Kydex? Give us a little something to go on.

Good choice. I use Blackhawks for three of my guns.

blackhawk is amazing for OC. but horrible for concealment good choice on an OC holster. tons of us use them daily

Agreed, horrible for concealment. They scream "I have a gun." In their defense, they don't claim to be concealment holsters.

I carry my M&P 9c in a Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster. It's meant for the FS but it fits no problem.

Grand, thats the same one I got, I'm not sure how i feel about having so much extra room from the end of the barrel to the end of the holster, but the holster is still small enough that it should not be a problem for me.

now to try to find one a little more suitable for Concealed carry....
today was an extremely productive day for me,
went and applied for my Concealed carry permit,
went to L.E.E.D (I would definitely recommend this place for military and police to purchase from, good prices, and very friendly)
purchased the M&P9c (will be able to pick it up friday) for 509 with night sights and 3 mags, (2 with finger extension, 1 without)

and the blackhawk holster.

For concealment I use a Remora or The Infidel from Comp-Tac. I use the Remora 99% of the time when concealing though.
