Legalize FOIA response lies

The Justice Department wants to be able to legally lie on FOIA requests and the comment period has passed!

It can be hard enough to get at the truth sometimes w/o being told that the information/record does not exist. People do lie sometimes, but our government should not, must not legalize or encourage the despicable act.

Imagine if Tricky Dick Nixon had simply said, "Tapes, what tapes? There are no tapes." regarding the Watergate scandal.

Call, email and write your Representative and Senator NOW. If they adopt this rule, they must be defunded.

But it's for "national security". (wish I could add "[/sarcasm]" right about here, but it's just not possible.)
