We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Northside Park is owned and maintained by the City of Norfolk and is thereby covered by preemption.
I have carried there several times and in immediate proximity to Norfolk police who routinely drive through the parking lot(s).

Having grown up in Norfolk and watching Northside Park go steadily downhill, I think it should be illegal NOT to carry there!
I thought it was bad a few years after they built the pool, but its gotten a LOT worse since then. I haven't been to Northside in a couple years, but I wasn't impressed the few times I've driven past recently.

It's actually relatively tame, especially since they built the skate park up front.
