Their policy may be due to some goofy liability issue.

That's what they say.

They are lying.

eBay, their owner, is also anti gun.

I bought a Beretta with a credit card. I buy ammo, magazines, and a holster with one. How come a credit card company has no liability issues? Some of them are MUCH bigger than PayPal and would have deeper pockets.

It really doesn't matter if the liability excuse is true or not. The fact remains, they'll cancel your account or otherwise screw with you if you buy gun stuff. That's anti-gun, regardless if the reasons they and their defenders claim are true actually are (they are not).

There are a lot of reasons not to use PayPal. Being anti-gun is just one of them.

I don't have a Paypal account. I can't stand Paypal and not just for their anti 2A stance. Their buyer protection policies stink. Just about anyone can claim they didn't get a package and the seller is stuck with the bill.

I do find it ironic and more than a little satisfying though that we are donating (presumably fee-free) using Paypal for pro-2A causes.

how would paypal even know if you are buying gun stuff??? i use my paypal debit card to purchase ammo, targets, magazines, etc.. and have never had an issue. i can't quote right now when or where i may have purchased something, but whether it's at walmart, or cabelas, they don't actually know what you are buying.

i guess i also never cared, because until i read this, i didn't even know they had such a policy.
