New to NC Open Carry

I am new to OC in NC, I have OC'd in Missouri for several years and haven't really done much since i have been stationed in NC beacause I was unsure of the details of the NC gun laws. I was standing a 24 hour duty and spent a lot of time looking up informaiton. I pulled up the NC flyer and have since then passed it out to all my Marines. I hope one day that seeing law abiding citizens legaly carrying will be the norm and not looked down on. The reason most people have a problem with it is because its not normal and they think its wrong since you don't have a badge attached to that gun. If more people was informed and excercised their rights given to us then it wouldn't be as big of an issue.

thanks everybody, I am slowly getting more comfortable OC'ing in NC. Its normal for me to do it in Missouri where i was raised but i still get nervous doing it here but after the last 3 days going to about 25 different establishments with no problems I am more comfortable with it.

I usually bounce around Fayetteville and haven't been deep into Jacksonville.
