We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. CCW, is their a limit to number of firearms one can carry at a time?

Its fun to do once in awhile but carring one can be a pain some times

If you find that you have a need for more then one go for it
A lot of LEOs carry a secondary weapon besides there duty weapon but they tend to go looking for trouble
where as most Non CCW carriers do not.

No, but my instructor told me that the last thing you want to do is look like you went out armed to the teeth looking for trouble. I don't know if that is true or not, but I can see a jury of liberals using that against you if you ever had to defend yourself and you were loaded like one of the Boondock Saints. The most I have done is one in my waistband and one on my ankle. Mostly I just carry one with one extra mag (if that).

I'd focus on making sure the one carry weapon suits my needs. Or maybe, firearm, knife (which have lots of uses) and pepper spray.
If I feel the need to bring two weapons, I made a poor choice on my first one, am causing trouble, or shoulda brought an AR-15 instead.
I think the only limits on several guns is a practical one. In WI, there was no mention of it in the law at all.

I think that kid pulled a shotty and some pistols out of his prison pocket!!!!
Imagine running with baggy pants was difficult. Now imagine doing it with a Mac 10, shotgun, couple pistols up your keyster, more in your waist band, while carrying your neighbors tv.

I sometimes carry 2. One is for open carry. The other is concealed BUG in the event that somebody manages to get the jump on me. Let them think it was my only one until BANG. The bad guy robbed my at gunpoint, I feared for my life. LAWYER!!!

Limiting factors are
a) how many do you have
b) how strong are you
The law doesn't say anything.
And, contrary to a claim made by someone claiming to be an instructor,
the law doesn't limit you to one type of "weapon" at a time.

I once asked a DNR warden if I could have two shotguns in my duck blind. He was puzzled at first, looked at his "book" in his truck, and said "I guess so... nothing here limits the number of guns, just the number of shots (3) each can hold".
Before someone asks... explanation why I wanted two was simple. Where I was hunting at the time was on the bend of a river. The birds would come down the river and by the time they rounded the corner and I saw them coming, they were only 100yds out and coming fast. It never failed... if I had heavy goose loads in my gun, it was teal or woodies coming at me. If it was geese coming, I was loaded up with smaller shot for teal. No time to switch loads. So I had two guns, one loaded with BB shot for geese or big ducks, the other with smaller #5s for teal & woodies. Grab whichever was appropriate for the intended targets.

Being just mechanical devices any gun can fail at any time for a vast variety of reasons, even including Stephen Colbert's Gun, "Sweetness", hence the "BACKUP GUN". The BUG is also useful for the "New York Reload"....

I have yet to carry 2 at a time, but the law allows it. If you carry 3 semi-autos with 2 maxed-out magazines each, it may be legal, but if you are ever in a situation where you pulled one in self-defense, the prosecution will have an absolute field day about how you were armed to the f'ing teeth and went looking for trouble. And pray you didn't have reloaded rounds in those magazines since the prosecution could additionally claim "you loaded those to be super-hot with cop-killer bullets...extra dangerous for penetrating body armor!"

Thanks for the replies. It was out of curiosity sake. I do not wish to list how many firearms I have in public, however, I like the idea of carrying different types of weapons. I have a few tazers, my main P13-45 CCW gun, and some other things.
How about this, are we allowed to carry Chinese throwing stars? (Joke) They could be fun.

I went to Cabellas today and was carrying two pistols. One was a sr9c because I was looking for a holster and my lc9.
The sr9 was checked and flagged and then I was escorted to the gun counter and the pistol was given to a counterperson
who gave me undivided care to select the holster. Once the holster was selected my pistol was cased and was stored at the customer service counter until I was checked out. I never said anything about the lc9 as I believe even that Cabellas
claims to be carry friendly if no one needs to know why say anything.
