...what happens when you're not careful reloading mags while on a boat?
    ...hideous attempt at modern art?
    ...Jimmy Hoffa?

It looks to be a .40 S&W Hydra-Shok suspended in some sticks being held up by play-dough...

If I had to guess at an alternate function, I would guess its a dashboard Christmas Tree with one ornament...

Merry Christmas to you as well!

    OK, I'll play

My grandkids are pulling stuff like this on me all the time.

    My guess is:

"A Cartridge in a Bare Tree"?????

Ah, you beat me to it. I stared at it then thought about it for half an hour. I'm going with your answer.

Would help if the thing actually looked remotely like a tree. Looks more like sick kelp.

    Nice!

    Your mind amazes me....

I guess I'm not lyrically minded, I wouldn't have gotten that in a....long time.

Edited to add: My wife on the other hand got it in about 90 seconds! (sigh)

Yes indeed. It is in fact a .40 Hydra-Shok. The "tree" is from one of those Christmas village sets. IIRC, the package label even said "Bare Tree".

Really? That tree doesn't seem to be concealing his ammunition at all. In fact, one might say he's bearing his arms openly.

It was so simple to identify when you first posted, that I thought it was a joke. I knew what it was in less than a few seconds. Of course I have some Hydra Shock ammo so that might have help...

    Your first mistake:

•(8) KEEP IT ON-TOPIC: All gun rights discussions not directly related to open carry should take place in the "General Discussions" forum and topics that are not related to gun rights at all should take place in "The Lounge".
