    Furious is an understatement

Congress should just eliminate the ATF altogether, fire all the employees, sell their buildings, rent out their offices, strike any mention in any official document that they ever existed. That would be a good place to start.

When in danger you can dial 911 and hope for the police to arrive a few minutes later armed with guns.
    Why do police carry guns?

With IRS agents in charge of collecting the spent lead in cage-carts, much akin to a golf driving range???

I discussed this in the past with friends and family, some of whom are avid shooters - most thought I should break out a tin-foil hat at the notion that they were doing this to introduce more policy and legislation.

"It's like ATF created or added to the problem so they could be the solution to it and pat themselves on the back," says one law enforcement source familiar with the facts. "It's a circular way of thinking."
I think that sums it up exactly.
