    Greetings;

    There will be a High Power Rifle "Fun" Match Saturday, December 17. This is a non-sanctioned match, but we will follow NRA rules. Entry fee is $10.00, $5.00 for Juniors. Registration: 8:00 - 8:30am, we squad at 8:30 SHARP! Don't be late! Bring a stapler for refacing targets, exact change is appreciated. We will shoot either a 500agg or an 800agg at the match directors discretion, depending upon weather conditions and how many competitors sign up.

    If the weather is bad - snow/ice or both - check your e-mail before leaving for the range in case we need to cancel the match.

    Attached is a copy of next year's HP schedule as well as an 800agg match bulletin for those who are new to our game.

    Regarding HP for 2012; Tom Edmonston and I are considering working with NRA to sanction 4 out of the 8 scheduled monthly matches, this will be in addition to the Spring League. If you had to pay an additional $5 to enter a sanctioned match would that be an issue for you? Also, when matches are NRA sanctioned they must be run like the Spring League i.e. by the rule book and the clock and it could be stressful for the new shooters. However, additional sanctioned matches could help shooters obtain their classifications sooner. Let us know what you think.

    Hope to see y'all on the firing line.

    Ho-Ho-Ho,
    Alan Willard

    Subject: High Power Rifle Match Results - 12/17

    Greetings;

    Twelve shooters showed up for Saturday's High Power Rifle "Fun" match. We shot an 800agg and finished up around 12:30, a good time was had by all. The match results are attached.

    Last week I e-mailed the schedule for 2012, there are two errors; the January match is Saturday 1/21 and the Clinic is Saturday, February 11. The rest of the schedule is correct.

    The next match monthly fun match is Saturday, January 21. Hope to see you there,
    Alan Willard
    Tom Edmonston
