Where have you been asked to leave, kicked out of or beeb ban from?

Just curious as it hasn't happened to me Yet but I'm sure it will.
So my question is where'd it happen and how'd it all go down?

I have been asked to leave the following in the past few years of open carry everywhere I go. You can see the percentage of problems is extremely low. Literally hundreds of places with no problem.

Lee's Liquor (problem resolved to my favor, manager did not know corp. policy)
Cinedome 12 (No response from head office)
Costco (Written company policy)
Michaels (No response from their HQ)
Henderson Library (Currently working on it)

I've never been banned from any place, but from the following places I've been asked to leave:

Costco
Scheels
Sak'n'Save & Scholaris (Same company - Company Wide Policy)
Smiths (Just one store)
Longs Drugs (Just one store)
Century/Cinemark Theaters

Generally somebody walks up and says something like, "Sir, weapons are not allowed, you must put the gun in your vehicle" or "Sir, you cannot have a gun in here, you must leave now!"

Not relevent to Nv, however. I was asked to leave a Cowboy Fast Draw contest. I was a spectator in the grand stands open carrying my 1911. One of the contestants freaked out when he saw it and went nearly histaric when he saw condition 1.

I've OCed daily for the last several years. In Nevada, (where all but 1.5 of those years have been spent) I have only been asked to leave one place: Bank of America. The manager politely asked me to leave; I complied, wrote a letter to BofA corporate, and got a snotty reply. I promptly cancelled all my accounts (after roughly 20 years banking with them), and haven't returned since. Other than that, I have OCed hundreds of various business in the Vegas area with virtually no problems.

Yep, it is written. My wife's best friend is a Costco manager and she read the policy to my wife. She is supposed to be sending me a copy.

My first encounter was at Gold Coast casino. I will get to the main point. Hung out in the bowling alley for about two hours. No one up there minded I was bowling while OC'ing. Once I got down to the casino floor a maintenance worker noticed my firearm & alerted security. As I made my way toward the exit I was rushed by a security officer. It was so overwhelming. Question after question. Why are u carrying a firearm? Are u a police officer? Did you know we have a no firearms policy? I answered her rediculous questions. I went on and said "its my right to barearms!" she didn't care. She asked me to leave so I left. But not without an escort and about 5 other security officers outside watching me. One S.O. Wrote down my license number. It was around 0100hr.. They had nothing better to do.

My second encounter was at the premium outlets. Me and my girlfriend walked around shopping for an hour & a half before security was contacted. A security officer pops up in zumies where we were shopping and asks me if I have a firearm? I replied yes! He tells me that they have a no firearms policy. And asks us to leave or place my firearm in my car! I replied no way will I give up my right to barearms. He said then I will escort you to your car. I replied there is no need. We left and I noticed him following us. I turned to him and asked him why is your policy breaking the law? He didn't have an answer but he did tell me he understood it is our right to barearms. He knows nevada is an open carry state he was just doing his job. I was very happy that I turned and started talking to him again cause he himself was upset about there policy. He has no problem with OC'ers.

Well, actually, their policy does not break the law nor violate your right to bear arms. They are private property. They can choose to say who can and cannot be there. In other words, they have the right to refuse your business, and you have the right to patronize establishments that do not have the same ignorant policy.

Yep their policy does not break the law. A better way to get the same point across is ask why does this business refuse to follow Nevada’s state law allowing for open carry when most other business do?
