Anyone ever ran into a problem with apartment managers while open carrying? I'm not sure if this would get in the way and cause my application to get rejected
That's how I ended up in the apartment I am in now, my landlord n her husband didn't notice I oc'ed til we were inside. Husband thanked me, & asked a whole bunch of questions. They appreciate me oc-ing around while doing my laundry, getting my mail, walking my dogs, etc. It helps keep the rif raf out of the complex in their opinions. FYI tho, my landlord has been known to carry a taser...
I'm in the process of finding a place right now. I talked to a guy at a complex in rent on. He was down to earth, and I found out very pro gun. I asked him if he knew about open carry ( I was carrying under my jacket at the time). He said he thought so but said he would 'work with me if he heard other tenants complain. 'Facepalm'. He was one of those 'I love your second amendment rights as long as ... ' types.
Last spring while looking for a place to stay over the summer, while touring a place (again carrying under a jacket) the place I was looking at was rather warm so I took off my jacket and I politely informed the lady showing the place that I was strapped so as to not 'warrant alarm.' Under the circumstances I thought it to be polite. My gesture enlisted a series of curious questions and she said she would have to consider getting her cpl and that I was one of the 'good guys.'
phone guy--
If your apartments are in Everett, aren't most apartment tenants in Everett armed anyway, especially if the apartment is along Casino Road or in "Possum Hollow"?
From what I hear, some are even "Legally" armed.
