thanks for posting the article for this reason they should get a CCW permit

thanks for posting the article for this reason they should get a CCW permit so the crazies can't hurt them. Putting up a gun free zone or attempting that again will just be a waste of time and is completely useless against someone who wants to carry a gun for criminal intent.

Can they move around 15.2-915? City Hall and the Council chamber are not prohibited places.

I'd be very happy to have a gin-you-wine Poe-leese escort, but wonder how the city is going to afford the pay I understand escorts usually get. Plus, isn't there a hiring freeze in the city? And how many wimmins that look like the pikchures I hear can be found on Craig's List would be willing to work for the city? bUt I aint tipping them unless the escortin' was really good!;)

stay safe.

It's CHP in Va, not CCW, and what in the hell is with you and concealed? This is an OC board and it's the second CC post I've seen you make in the last 60 seconds.

See City Council members exhibit fear over a man with a gun(?) at city hall ...

Alleged death threat made to all 9 city council members

See Kathy G. explain why panic buttons don't work. See, when seconds count, security is only 15 minutes away... oh wait, they never show up.

Bullets with names on them? A return to metal detectors? Oh My!

I don't see why they need security anyway.
Kathy's ugly enough to turn a whole room full of people to stone.

She probably flipped him the bird and that's what he's mad about.

The Gorgon was a maiden bold, who turned to stone all on roll, that looked upon her awful brow, we dig them out of City Hall now.

Time for another Road trip Skid!

Add my name to the list.

This has been played out before. Is there something new or is this just a rerun?

15.2-915 State preemption - OC or CC legal. Stop and frisk w/o RAS?

Open meeting laws - no ID required, no sign in either.

Why not provide council with lexan enclosures, self-contained air and emergency floor drop. I want to see the latter in action.

Oh look what you did -- you edited the pic to YELLOW her eyes! No fair while I was replying.

Wait, I suppose "Kathy G". means "Kathy Gorgon" -- She's no Uma Thurman.

I didn't like the yellow eyes..

Plus maybe they can get some of those security guys that were working at that jeweler's around Christmas time...maybe some emergency rations in case they are trapped in their enclosure for an extended period of time....

Lol...talk about an over-reaction to a known mentally-ill man...

The guy has been at every meeting I've been to. He speaks and no one pays any attention...kinda the way Kathy treats us.

Yep - pushed the "panic button" - nobody came - then what happened?

If the threat had been real, then what?

Hey, I like this idea of a Lexan enclosure!

Every ordinance must be handed through a little two-way/one-side-only box like a bank. Then the people read the ordinance and decide whether to let more air in or them out. Now that would be a balance of power.

:D
