Can this count as proof of training?

So I am getting ready to apply for my CCW here in wisconsin and I am pretty sure I need "proof of training".

I went to this site which was the Maryland Police training commission and did A online saftey course which lasted about an hour. when I was finished it gave me a certificate to print off. Can this count as training for the CCW here in wisconsin? here is the site I took it at.

Any help would be great. thanks.

Even though that meets the letter of the law, the DOJ in its rule making added 'face to face'.

    What Paul said.
Though I've seen well-stated arguments that the MPTC is not a LEA, but merely a training agency.
(It does not itself enforce laws, rather trains people who do.)
It doesn't matter, because DOJ made a rule saying "instructor-led".

The law you want to read is 175.60 (4), which starts on page 8 of the PDF of Act 35. Those are the requirements for training.

Then read the DOJ rules to be thoroughly confused about how they can ignore the law that's written.
(Actually, many of their rules were struck down just a few days later.)
