Search your state's driver alerts at http://alerts.motorists.org/?search=Virginia&sort=recent and help you stay out of trouble with police, road blocks, and ticket scammeras while carrying a gun in your vehicle.

Unless you've got really DEEP pockets stay out of Georgia if you're driving. Georgia LE, mainly state troopers and sheriffs are actively scamming drivers with their Super Speeder speed violation stops. Seems they'll write you up for 86MPH in 70MPH zones. Violations of 15MPH over posted limits is around $200. By writing the tickets out specifically for 86MPH that 1MPH extra gets one a ***Super Speeder*** violation with an additional $200 violation mailed to offender 30 days or so after the fact. The way they've got this scam set up it's incredibly easy for them to see to it your license gets Suspended (in your home state) if you're slow to pay.

Out of state drivers are targeted as LE figures they won't fight it in court. There is a class action suit warming up.... I for one hope they win and bankrupt Georgia.

It is pretty easy to get out of the ticket in GA. The locals have to be visible at least 500' away. In the dark, they have to sit under a light. GSP doesn't have to abide by those laws though.
