Welcome to the Forum and OC.

Dr. Office, maybe. Mine has no problem.

Hospital, in all likelihood they will tell you to leave. That is all (legally) they can do is tell you to leave

    Welcome!

As iterated, the LAW allows you to do so. But once on their private property, they have the right to ask you to leave because of it. Let us know how it goes, and exactly what hospital it was.

Totally agree with the previous posts. Take a look at the Nevada Pamphlet in the sticky post.

When you do carry openly, and I'm glad you do, you may get some looks, it's all part of the deal. If you get approached at a business, even if there is a sign out front, the sign has no "legal merit". They cannot arrest you for simply ignoring, or not seeing a sign. However, if you are asked to leave by an employee, preferably a manager, do so, without arguing. Failure to leave could result in an arrest for trespass. That is not the time to make a stand.

For the most part, you shouldn't be hassled in Northern Nevada. Local law enforcement generally knows the laws and actually expects to see people open carrying. (I got this directly from a local county deputy)

In regards to going to the baby Dr today I did leave it in the car not wanting to have to walk all the way back the the parking garage not a big deal for me today.. I have more days to get comfortable doing so... I had moved here from California so being here I'm loving the gun rights. I have been to many gun shops researching my gun rights and getting my ccw. I have been very satisfied on all my answers and all my Internet research witch led me to this sight. I am happy to be apart of and glade to see so many people on here that want to keep are 2nd amendment alive and going strong. Thank you all for the welcoming happy to be here.

If you are doing your research on gun rights by going to gun shops and taking ccw, be aware that you may get a 'colored' version of reality. For instance, a common misconception that gets lots of leg time from some instructors is that "you can't OC after getting a CC permit." A typical claim is "concealed means concealed! Be wary of 'FUD,' and verify legal points for yourself if you can. NRS 202 is a reasonable place to begin.

I specifically did NOT link directly to that statute, as being familiar with that website is a great idea anyway.

But, locate the "Law Library" at the legislature website, and check the statutes. The pamphlet references are from there.

Oh, and "welcome" and congrats on your escape.
