So since all bills were due yesterday here is this years list of all bills that will be referred to either the House or Senate public safety committees that deal with OC or CC. Click the Bill number to read the text of the bill.
HB 2193 - Allows ammo to be stored in locked cars in parking lots
HB2309 – no longer required to notify LEO unless specifically asked
HB2332 – Private property open carry
HB2383 – Remove fixed pricing for CC class
HB2384 – Remove elementary schools from precluded places, but must have written permission to CC on property
HB2416 – illegal to display CC intentionally in an angry or threatening manner, brief exposure not in violation
HB2417 – adds public or private to elementary and secondary school prohibited place. Allows school districts to set policies to allow CC on school property.
HB2514 – adds public to elementary and secondary school prohibited place. Allows private schools to make policy to allow CC on school property
HB2522 – Convert CWL to a handgun license and allow for either open or concealed carry. No change in price. Open carry pistol would have to be in a belt holster.
HB2537 – Provides for accidental exposure, treat elementary schools as universities (allowed in parking lots, other places with written permission), reduces fail to notify to a 100 fine, business open to the public that wish to prohibit carry must post signs, and carrying on that property is not a criminal act.

HB2701 – Allow legislatures and Sgt at Arms with CWL’s to carry on Capitol Grounds
HB2703 – Modifying preclusions from a CWL
HB2776 – If you are not a prohibited person, the federal gun free school zone act does not apply to you, you have been licensed by the state.

SB1547 – allow legislators to carry after a safety course
