Well the Mount Baker link Station safety walk went very well tonite. The wind and rain stopped for us, and it wasn't that cold. We had 3 Seattle police officers escorting the walk.

South Precinct Lt. Hays, Det. Cookie Willams, and Outreach coordinator Officer JoJo Cambierno. We walked the surrounding blocks around the station pointing out area's where people could be robbed.

We also recorded street lights that were out, and discussed the advantages of the new LED street lights that give true light for better discriptions of suspects.

We talked about the local crime satistics, and other strategies for keep people safe. I got alot of questions about open carry, I wish there had been more than just me there open carrying, but maybe tomarrow night.

Tomarrow the news media may come and we are going to have 2 city council members join us.
