    Starbucks Valentines Day meet?

Anyone in Oregon planning to attend their local Starbucks on this day to help against the Anti's boycott?

I'm down for coffee if anyone wants to meet. Just say where... or I'll pick a spot in the metro area in a few days

Edit: was lurking around NWFA, they might have a location in mind... I'll register to see if they would accept us

Huh. It's a shame the anti-gunners aren't boycotting some place with better coffee.

    I have class that day. And even if I didn't, I don't frequent Star-sucks.

    Eugene Starbucks Valentines day

Anyone who wants to meet up on V day let me know when is best. I assume most ppl have jobs so noonish or after 5ish will probably be best. I don't care which one we meet at, but closer to downtown would be best IMO.

A little help on recording police

Is there some kind of law restricting this in Oregon? I can't seem to find one reviewing the code, but I may have missed it.

I think there's a wire tapping law, and in Oregon the courts have ruled that one must inform others when audio recording. I believe there was a ruling where a man holding a camcorder or some obvious recording device didn't need to inform since the police saw him and his camcorder. But in general the first thing you want to hear on every recording is you saying, "Audio recording." I suspect sometime in the next few years the supreme court will rule on recording public officials, but until then it's a state by state thing.

I'd be good for anywhere in between Salem and PDX.

I work all day that day, but much anytime after 4pm I can meet somewhere.

TheHossUSMC: How about the E.Broadway & Pearl location in the Eugene Hotel @ noon?

Lots of lunchgoers from surrounding businesses. Very visible location for educating people about the right to open carry. Feel free to msg. or e-mail me if this doesn't work for you.

I open carry because if a bad guy attacks me anyway, I am best prepared to respond appropriately, with minimal fuss, and my bearing of a firearm is not infringed by having to lift my shirt, pull back my jacket, or unzip some pouch. Forcing people to carry concealed is an infringement on the right to keep and bear arms.

Thus, a frequent (weekly?) visit might be of significance, especially paying with the $2 bill.
the boycott will end just as soon as these liberal gun haters realize they have succeeded in nothing more than depriving themselves of their elitist double decaf, half caf, latte with vanilla soy milk and hold the cinnamon because the cinnamon workers in sri lanka are exploited by the large cinnamon cartels.

I wouldn't figure the effectiveness of this boycott won't stick for long. Until they find out something else to stand for or boycott.

Some people are meeting downtown around Noon at the Second & Main Starbucks but I understand that many do not get off work till later in the day.

Based on another post from VW_BUG he has a friend who doesn't have a CHL. I had suggested Oregon City but that is off limits for non-chl loaded OC.

I wouldn't worry about that so much. He's not off work until later. He has shown interest in OC'ing, but that doesn't mean he has to go with me tomorrow. Wherever works for you. Oregon City Starbucks off McLoughlin?

Edit : The whole point is simply to go spend some 2's there. We don't all have to meet to do it.
