    Support starbucks on feb.14th

Anti-gun folks are going to boycott Starbucks on feb. 14th. Let's show our support for their firearm policies, and stop by and buy something, even if we never stop at Starbucks. I plan on telling them why I am there, and hopefully we can make the anti's look like lost causes!

And if you can, pay with your purchase with $2 bills. (You can get them at your bank). This denomination is rarely used, and will get the attention of the Staff at Starbucks, AND the "2" is symbolic of our support for the 2nd Amendment.

Cash drawers full of $2 bills at the end of the day in every Starbucks in the country would get their attention that's for sure. If you owned a business, who would you listen to for setting policy--a bunch of loud, disruptive, ranting protesters trying to convince your customers to not patronize your shop, or a bunch of quiet, polite, law-abiding people who calmly came in to your shop, purchased your product, and went about their business?

    Just sayin'...
It is our cause to dispel the foggy thinking which avoids hard decisions in the delusion that a world of conflict will somehow mysteriously resolve itself into a world of harmony, if we just don't rock the boat or irritate the forces of aggression—and this is hogwash."

I'm 28, single, and very very single. I dont often find people to date, cause of my esoteric tastes. I've been often asked of my co-workers what I'm doing for feb 14th. I'm THRILLEd now to have an answer. Thank you poster. My valentines day plans...I will be at starbucks, spending my money, exercising my rights as an american. Thank you thank you for turning this 'holiday' in to a holiday.

Believe it or not Ripley, there was a story floating around about a guy who was arrested in I think it was a Wally World for trying to pay with a $2 bill because the cashier did not know they were legal tender. Neither did the Manager nor the Police Officer that responded. I can't remember where I saw that story.

    Wilco.

I don't drink coffee, but their overpriced cocoa is good. Gee, "overpriced" . . .maybe I will end up having to give them TWO or THREE $2 bills.

And tell them why they're getting them.

And let's not forget the tip jars, where the whole world will see.

In. I work the night shift on the 14th so I've got all day to hang out and spend 2 dollar bills. If anyone wants to do a Starbucks meetup that day I'm down for that as well.

I'm happy to do this and use $2 bills, but I just checked Brady's web site and didn't see anything about any plans to protest Starbucks on the 14th. Perhaps I just missed it, but does anyone have a link?

I will be glad to help

I recently moved from Phoenix to Reno, and man have I been spoiled, enjoying all that constitutional carry and stuff... but anyway...

I will be hitting up the Starbucks near McCarron and Kietzke on Vday in the morning around 7am. Most likely I will drop by again in the evening, after work. Hope to see some other OC folk there when I do.

I have my $2 bills ready to spend at StarBucks on coffee cups for the coffee drinkers in the family. I can get a Chai Tea for myself.

I remember reading something about it was to protest their attitudes toward freedom of being armed as well as something about gay rights, but I don't remember what about them.

I'll just carry a gun, use the $2 bills, and make sure to wink at the pretty girls to make sure everyone knows why I'm there.

Or if some girls are available to hang off my arms while I'm there, I suppose that would work, too. Coffee will be on me, of course!

lol...it would be way cool if you could get a couple of Vegas showgirls in full costume to go with you draped on your arms.

Ah yes...I guess having the showgirls on your arms loses it's appeal once you've reached "been-there-done-that" status. Still, Goodman never seemed to tire his showgirl schtick.
